John Siciliano

President

John Siciliano was born in 1971 in a small town near Pittsburgh, Pa. At the tender age of 9 John experienced his first tragic loss when his mother died of a heart attack. John moved with his eight older siblings to live with his father in another part of the Pittsburgh area.

Tragedy struck again in 1993. A drunken driver struck rammed into a jeep that John was riding in. John awoke in a hospital bed the next day and found himself in a neck brace with a tracheotomy tube in his throat and his hands strapped to the bed. He knew something was terribly wrong but three days passed until he was told that it his leg had been amputated four inches above the knee.

With his life and dreams of athletic achievements and dramatic triumphs in shatters, John began a long and arduous trek towards health and rehabilitation. Along the way John developed and deep understanding and a profound appreciation of life, in spite of the curve balls and catastrophes it had thrown his way.
